It's just a guided conversation, like regular talk therapy (BYO couch!). There's no text, typing, tapping, lights or fancy features to distract you – we've found that simple talk therapy is more effective in improving long-term wellbeing. Solace will warmly welcome, prompt and guide you just like a therapist might, to explore what's going on for you, release or reframe harmful thought-patterns and to understand, acknowledge and safely process your day-to-day emotional challenges. As long or as short as you need to improve your wellbeing! Our time tracker will only deduct the minutes you use, not blocks of time. Even with the pay-as-you-go Session purchase, you can split up the 60 minutes across multiple calls. There is a maximum call duration of 60 minutes, and if you need more time, just call back. Solace gets straight to it and is very effective, so we've found that typical session lengths are around 30 minutes, and often less for people checking in daily.

Call when things come up and feel raw. Don't wait, because when a memory surfaces, you have a window of opportunity to reframe it in a way that is less likely to drive negative feelings and behaviours, before it returns to your sub-conscious. One bite at a time. The bigger the challenge, the more calls you may need. You can cover as many topics in a single call as you like, however, just like regular talk-therapy, it's unrealistic to expect to deal 100% with an issue on the first call, and Solace will typically just help you focus on one aspect at a time. The science of memory reconsolidation suggests it may be more effective to unpack and reframe one thing or even one aspect of a bigger challenge, then take at least a few hours out to consolidate and see how it sits with you then.

HeySolace has been thoroughly trained and refined over six years, drawing on a vast database of psychological knowledge and evidence-based practices, and guided by human experts. While it’s a powerful tool, it’s important to remember that HeySolace is an AI and not a replacement for professional therapy when needed.

Your conversations with HeySolace are completely confidential and only kept in temporary memory for the duration of each call only. Our pricing varies based on the number of minutes you choose per month. Each plan is designed to offer flexibility and value for money. You can view details on our pricing page.

At this stage we do not offer a free trial, however you can purchase a single, low-cost session if you are unsure about committing to a subscription. Please see our pricing page for details.

Your subscription grants you access to our advanced AI wellbeing coach, which you can call an unlimited number of times each month, up to the total number of minutes allowed by your plan. You'll have full access to all the tools and features included with HeySolace.

We accept all major credit cards. All transactions are secure and encrypted by our payments provider Stripe.

Yes, all subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period to ensure uninterrupted access to your AI wellbeing coach. Your billing period is set monthly based on the original date of subscription. Note: our Single Session option is not a subscription and therefore does not renew.

You can easily cancel your subscription with one click, through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged for the next cycle.

We do not offer refunds for unused time. However, you will continue to have access to Solace until the end of your billing period, even after cancellation.

If you reach your minute limit, you can either wait until your subscription renews or purchase additional minutes through your account settings.

Due to system limitations, allotted time resets monthly (at the end of your billing cycle) and unused time does not accumulate.

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through your account settings. Changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Yes, however it is not recommended because they will be able to change your account details or subscription type if you give them your login details. Important: We are not liable in any way for unexpected changes if you share your login.

HeySolace is compatible with most laptops, smartphones and tablets. Make sure you’re using the latest version of browser/app and device software for the best experience.
